Why is no one upset that Palin is trash talking Obama on foreign soil?

Sarah Palin took her closely watched political act overseas for the first time since resigning as governor of Alaska, telling a Hong Kong audience that President Barack Obama had weakened American influence in Asia.

With speculation raging over whether the former Republican vice presidential candidate is planning to challenge Mr. Obama in the 2012 presidential race or simply trying to convert her fame and popularity into income, Ms. Palin gave a 90-minute speech Wednesday that touched in part on foreign-policy issues, which were seen as her weak spot in the 2008 campaign.

Even talking about a "responsible uprising" and how we are weaker now...ON FOREIGN soil. So Dixie dumb dumb's do it, OUTRAGE. SHE does it WORSE and NOTHING?

  • Palin is an idiot, and a lot of people are being extremely hypocritical about this. She is a former VP candidate and held office as a Governor, and she's flat out saying we are weak? And people are trying to compare this to a country band saying they don't like Bush. Okkkaaayyy

  • funny how the same people who say Palin needs to go away are always first in line to bring her up again

  • She is such an embarrassment, I can't even give her the time of day.

  • Maybe she was just apologizing for him, the way he so kindly did that for the rest of us.

  • Good for Sarah. It is about time someone kicked this jerk in the b----! He has weakened us in the eyes of the world and deserves every criticism he gets.

  • Because it's a personal view... It doesn't matter if she's on foreign soil... I'm wondering what that even has to do with it? It's her view.
Just like the mothers on here... some women like Obama, some don't and trash talk him.
Are we really going to get caught up on everyone's views and try and force them to change their opinion to what you think is right? I don't think any one has the power to judge what is right or wrong, and then force the opinions on them.

  • OMG! I can not believe she is trying so hard to make our President look bad just bc no one wanted her. Once she left she should have never looked back she had her chance so move on Palin. Let a real person take care of us (actually he is trying so hard to clean up other peoples mess). Get out of town Palin!!!

  • Like Sarah Palin can do any more damage than he does himself...He just embarrasses us internationally...she just expressing her opinion.

  • It's a matter of which group outnumbers which, and perhaps most importantly--has the ability to make the most noise. Remember when the Dixie Chicks trash-talked Bush over in Europe? They seriously riled the conservatives (who, coincidentally, made up most of their fan base)--and boy, oh boy, did they hear about it. There were CD burning parties and all manner of uproar.

Why is there no uproar now? Most likely because there are not as many people who care, and the ones who do are not incensed enough to raise a big stink.

  • Really, I don't think anyone takes her seriously. So All of Asa is probably laughing at her and thinking her next move is to try to run as their head of state.
