Why doesn't my 2 year old son want to sleep in his own bed? Every night is a fight and sometimes I am so tired.

  • If you give in and let him sleep with you it will only make it harder and you'll never win. You need to stick to your ground and tell him it's bed time, put him in his bed, and when he gets up put him back in bed. If he continues to not listen to you and gets out of bed, you should put him in timeout or some other type of punishment. From the way it sounds you've gone through this many nights now, and he needs to know you are the boss not him. He'll eventually get the hint and give up on fighting it.
