What could I use to replace spaghetti seasoning?

I found a recipe I would like to make for dinner tonight, so what could I use to replace spaghetti seasoning? I don't have spaghetti seasoning, and don't exactly want to run back to the store, with a little newborn. Could I use some like johnny's little chillie powder and some spaghetti sauce?

  • I would use some garlic and onion (fresh, frozen, or powder), Italian seasoning or herbs like basil, oregano, etc. I have had spaghetti with chile powder many times. It is very good. Google a recipe called Cincinnati chili. It is basically chili without beans poured over spaghetti noodles. I've never had it, but it sounds and looks good!
