  • I'm not sure what the term for it was but my step grand son had surgery on his skull when he was 6 months old. The bones were not allowing the brain to grow and he had a flat head/forehead. After surgery he wore a helmet and he is a fine young man at 4 years old.
Is this the type of thing your referring to?

  • I have not and I hope everything goes well.
This is what i understand is the goal for the surgery

    * Relieve any pressure on the brain
    * Make sure there is enough room in the skull to allow the brain to properly grow
    * Improve the appearance of the child's head

I want to assure you this surgery if they are saying your baby needs it, is very important and should be done to better your child's life. Again I hope everything goes perfect for you and your little one!
