Wanting to use a mid thigh lenght robe pattern as a jacket,should I go to the next size up?

  • Probably not, robes are usually roomy, so you're probably okay with the size you normally would buy. I find that the patterns run a little large on me, and usually have to be a size or two smaller than it says. I don't know how much you sew, but I would pin the pattern together before you cut your fabric, and try the pattern on for fit. Be careful of course, the tissue is delicate.
