how to get the smell out?

My son didn't clean out his lunch box on Friday, and had left over strawberries that had fermented. Now I can't get that hint of rotten strawberries smell out of his lunch box. It's one of the soft cooler types with the cloth on the out side. I tried to just scrub it with soap and water and let is air dry. I used the bleach wet towels, I even sprayed it down with odor eliminator sprays. it still smells. Any other suggestions before I just throw it out and try to find a new one?

  • baking soda paste scrub and let it soak for a bit...just air it outside over the weekend and it should be fine
