  • Head and chest cold, it's common right now, the doctor's aren't going to give you anything for you so, give her tylenol, use a humidifier, use nasal spray, and comfort her the best you can for now.

  • She is probably congested from a weather change. Use a humidifier at night, elevate the head of her mattress so she can breathe more easily, put saline drops in her nose to thin the mucus, use a bulb syringe to clear out any excessive congestion, and take a deep breath yourself. If she runs a fever over 101, the cough lasts very long or sounds like it is moving into her chest, or she starts to have trouble breathing-shallow breaths or a wheezing noise, call her pediatrician. Do not give her any diluted decongestant or cold medicine, and if you try vicks, use only a very little and make sure it doesn't come in contact with her skin.

  • If the cough seems to come from deep in her lungs and is wet sounding lasting more than 5 days take baby to the DR!!! They will get her on a decongestant as you DONT want a cough that sounds like that to turn into pneminia
