Good finger foods for 9 month old

I'm very nervous about giving Joey finger foods and table foods. I'm just curious what kinds of finger foods and table foods everyone is giving their children. Any advice would be appreciated!! :-)

  • I give my daughter string cheese, cheerios, Gerber puffs, cookies, grilled cheese, shredded chicken, mashed potatoes, rice. You can give them just about anything, I just usually cut everything up in smaller sizes so that she won't choke being that she only has 2 bottom teeth lol.

  • At 9 months babies start needing more iron. My grandson loves shaved meat. If you give him pieces he just stores them in his hamster cheeks. Here's what I do. Take leftover steak from the fridge. With a sharp knife shave it in small slices. He likes to feed himself.

We had leftover chicken cordon blue and I sliced that up and he loved that. Rice is a favorite. Of course bananas and sweet potatoe.
