Do you ever have to remind your husband to clean up after himself/ chores?

I am always nagging, he complained how much I nagged him, so I started just leaving his own messes where they are, and if he has a problem with them then he cane clean them up on his own time! Sound fair enough?

  • I don't nag but I do tease. So when the kids come in the front door and leave a trail behind them of bookbags, shoes, papers, coats and umbrellas I fuss at them to pick up after themselves and I tell him that they come by it honestly. They are just like their dad.

  • I have to consider myself very lucky where this subject is concerned. My husband and I both work 12 hour shifts...opposite from each other. When I go to work...he's coming home. We share in the chores...even dishes and laundry. We never complain or nag...we just do what needs to be done.

  • Sounds right, but thats not the way it is at my house. Unfortunately, he doesn't clean up after himself at all!!! If I didn't clean it up, it would stay there lol. Sucks, but true...
