Abandoned Puppy-

I Found a puppy at the corner store in our neighborhood last night and he was so malnourished so i took him to the SPCA to get him help. they said they will help and i can come to check up on him. they found a tumor in his stomach and he had very bad worms and his owner wasnt feeding him. Will they return him to me if i ask when he gets better? or do i have to go pay an adoption fee. my daughter fell in love with him and so have i and looking at getting him :)

  • Since he was abandoned you could probably have him if you pay his vet bill.

  • The adoption fees are necessary to help keep that wonderful organization going. Such as giving vet care to puppies like the one you found and so much more. The SPCA also asks a fee as kind of a way to make sure that you have the money to take care of the animal you adopt. I think that they will ask you to pay.

  • Glad you found that poor baby. We actually found a 4 to 6 week old kitten yesterday that we are going to foster for the time being. They may let you have him if you pay the vet bills or they may possibly ask that you pay the adoption fee. If you know the name of the person you worled with i would get in touch with them and see what you can do.
