how much vinegar

I've read on here before to use vinegar in the washing machine when washing towels that have a mildew smell. How much do I use??? I want the mildew smell gone but don't want them to smell like pickles?? LOL

  • Use a couple of cups. You won't smell it. Wash them again with baking soda if you're worried about it - but there are people that use vinegar in the rince cycle as fabric softener, so you won't have a problem. I don't do it, I have a product I like better for getting the smell out - which isn't a problem anymore since I always wash them with it.
