  • You mean... first visit? Or...
Usually they do a pap smear, cervical exam, make sure your vagina looks healthy and no infections. Feels the uterus, does a breast exam. Just asks how you're feeling, answers your questions and concerns. Most of the time, does an ultrasound to see where you're at, how the baby's developing, etc. And a blood exam. Tests for AIDS/HIV, iron levels, all sorts of stuff. With the bloodwork - you usually know the results with your doctor at the next check up - unless there's concerns, then a nurse will call you to discuss and/or schedule an appt at a sooner date.

I think that's pretty much it... Oh. Does a weight on you. Urine analysis.

  • Blood pressure! xD
But the weight, blood pressure, and urine check are common with every visit, and probably iron as well. :]
