Is it a no no to wear panyhose with skirts and dresses?

I have a wedding to go to and would like to wear a skirt and blouse, I am not one to dress up, are panyhose a thing of the past?

  • I like them sometimes they make my legs look better, I try to stay with a shade that matches my tone.

  • I think they add a touch of class. I like to go with a shade darker than my skin, but still sheer enough to see through.

  • I hate to wear pantyhose, but there are times they are appropriate. I don't think you would be inappropriately dressed if you wore pantyhose to a wedding.

  • I think it's fine as long as you are wearing a closed toe pump or something similar. I think wearing pantyhose with a strappy sandals or peep-toes is a big fashion no no.

  • I wanted to know this too for a wedding I have to go to. I went to Nordstrom and asked. They said it depended on the shoes. I'm doing peep toe so no hose. When I asked my friend in San Fran she laughed at me. No hose she said. So, I'm going with spanx!
