  • No, I don't work in full time job anymore, but used to do nurse aid work, and at times was probably thought of a "low man on totem pole" type job.

  • Yes, I am a homemaker! You would be suprised how many people view women who choose to be full-time homemakers as second-class citizens, or even empty-headed Stepfords who have no identity of our own. I get so tired of being in mixed company and having someone ask, "So what do you do?" If I answer, "I am a homemaker", the response is usually a flat, "Oh." If I answer, "I am a mother", they generally repeat themselves: "Yes, but what do you DO?"

  • Yes, I am a SAHM. You wouldn't believe how many people act like I willingly submit myself to torture everyday when they hear that, and then ask when I am going to get a real job. Ah, the joys of being a nobody and looked down on by society as a whole.

  • Probably, but I don't really notice, or really care, what other people think.
I'm a stay at home grandmother raising my infant granddaughter while I am a full time college student.
My passion is in the medical field and that is where I am headed when my granddaughter is old enough for pre-school.
