Girls' tights

My daughter loves to wear dresses. I have no problem with this. I DO require her to wear tights underneath because at 6 she still occasionally forgets and "flashes" everyone in the immediate area. I can find the thin panty-hose style, but she tears those up the first time she wears them, because she's very active. I want thicker, cotton tights. She likes the cable-knit style. Our local Walmart doesn't carry them in her size. I've searched online, but I can't find anywhere that has them in her size for under $10 a pair. Anyone know where I can find size 6x/7 cotton girl's tights? (Cable-knit would be nice but not required, LOL.)

  • Try I just looked on there and they have cable knit uniform tights for $7.50 each or 2/$12. Not a bad price. I love Children's Place.

  • If you can't find them try regular leggings or have her wear a pair of shorts underneath. (many girls that age do the bike shorts are the best)

  • Yeah, my girls just wear shorts under their dresses. That is, if they want. I don't require it. I only require tights if it is winter.
I get their tights at Wal-mart and Target although I noticed lately they have less and less (I've had even harder time finding them for my 3yo).

  • I would look up dance wear online... They have great tights ,but they might only have pink, nude, and black. Just research all of the dance wear and look under clearance racks too. I found alot of nice things for my niece.

  • Check out Lands End, sometime you get a discount if you buy more than one. Also check out their overstocks.
