Almost passed out at almost 17 weeks

Hey, I'm almost 17 weeks pregnant and was on the floor helping my husband with something. I then got up, not terribly fast, but then nearly passed out in the hallway. I caught myself and slid down the wall. He was pretty worried about me and made me eat right after. Now I'm feeling cervical pressure and my uterus hurts. Is this normal? I should have gotten up slower, and it's been a while since I ate. (We were at church, so I only had snacks) Should I call my doctor?

  • I would call your doctor, but that can also be perfectly normal! It will be good for your doctor to know just in case there are other problems, but don't be too worried until you hear what your doctor has to say. (I have had that happen with 2 of my pregnancies)!
