When do you start your period after quitting nursing?

My son is 11 months old and I quit nursing him about 4 weeks ago. I also had a depo shot when he was six weeks old. I've only had sex one time since he was born. I don't feel like I am pregnant and I have absolutely no symptoms. I just have not started my period. I have not had a period in a yr and a half, so I just don't know what is going on? Anyone have any good advice for me?

  • Go to your doc and tell them what you told us. One pee test (and maybe a pap later) and you've got your answers. Good luck!!!

  • If you're not pregnant, your period will show when it shows. Weaning is no guarantee. I've seen moms still wait for several months post-weaning.
