How did you dr diagnose you with PCOS?

I'm afraid that I might have PCOS, and I don't know "real life" stories of PCOS... only the signs/symptoms online. However, some of those are subject to interpretations... rather than black/white. Just curious. Don't know how to KNOW that you have PCOS?

  • When I was diagnosed they did a metobolic panel and 3 hour fast glucose test. They combined the results from the blood work with my body shape, my pimpley face, and irregular periods, and blah blah blah.

  • To my knowledge, I've never had cysts. However, since getting off birth control, my face is broken out, my hair is growing at lightning speed, and I'm really getting thicker around the middle.
