  • My daughter at that age had this schedule: She would wake up around 7 am, eat cereal. Breastfed at 9, nap until 11, eat lunch (veggies or breast fed), down for another nap at 1 pm, wake up at 3-4 pm. breastfed around 4-5 pm. Dinner at 6 (veggies), bath and bedtime at 7.30. She would usually wake up to breastfeed around 3 am, and sometimes around 5 am. It worked really good for us, and since I am a SAHM, I have time to stick with that schedule pretty strictly. Before she was on this schedule she was napping on and off during the day (short naps) and it just wasn't working for her. The two long naps really makes a difference for her. Good Luck.

  • I give morning naps and afternoon naps to my grandkids. If they get cranky I lay them down.

  • Each baby has their own needs. I breastfeed and never put my babies down for "naps." I just let them sleep when they feel asleep at the breast nursing. If I wanted to do something I would put on a sling and leave them sleeping on me. Most of the time I would relax and watch TV or read.
