Okay, seriously, what is wrong with me? Why can't I stop having these thoughts?

I keep having these repetitive thoughts and I can't make them stop. It's like I'll just be sitting here and my brain will just think this crazy thing, and I would never do it - ever - but the words just come into my head. It's not hearing voices or anything like that... I don't know how else to explain it.

Has this happened to you? What is it? How can I put an end to it?

  • You need to make some time to relax. See if you can get control of your anxiety with relaxation techniques on your own. If that doesn't work then don't be shy about talking to a doctor.

  • I think it happens to a lot of us. I think it is just your brain wondering. You need to keep busy. Read a book while you relax...they say an idle mind is the devils playground! I am sorry they are consuming you and bothering you. Good luck!
