• Notice that the exam took FIVE HOURS to complete.

Gives the saying 'he only had an 8th grade education' a whole new meaning, doesn't it?! Also shows you how poor our education system has become and,
NO, I don't have the answers!

Answer by Anonymous at 8:09 PM on Sep. 28, 2009

• A better question would be "Are people not as smart as they once were?"
Nope, I don't know the answers either.

Answer by Anonymous at 8:14 PM on Sep. 28, 2009

• Ummm, actually since we define some of those things differently now, NO I can't pass it. Give me the texts they used and yes, I could. Some of the questions are dependant on understanding the measures and concepts used commonly back then while they are no longer used now.

Answer by Petie at 8:19 PM on Sep. 28, 2009

• Wowzer! Of course, bushels and such aren't used today, but I do believe in the importance of knowing all the rest. No wonder only a select few were allowed to receive an education back then! No wonder such wonderful written works and poetry were from then and earlier!
Some of the mathematics I can do with the formulas from my college math course book, but the rest I was never even taught!

• Most college kids can't handle the grammar and language section. I've actually graded scholarship essays with text-type language in them. "I wanna be @ this school bc I wanted 2 go here my hole live." Yes, those children/adults graduated from high school.
