  • Human Resources is a very broad field. HR can include:

    Benefits administration, recruiting, compensation analysis, HRIS (human resources information systems), employee Relations, OD (organizational development), etc. is a great resouce.

  • I work in HR and it really depends on what the position is as to what the responsibilities will me. My position manages the FMLA and Short Term disability leaves as well as associate recognition programs, benefits questions, and other Associate issues. We have a seperate benefits group that actually administers benefits and oversees the programs but a lot of smaller companies will have one HR person that does it all.
