  • everything you eat.... just little teeny pieces!

try hummus..... it comes in a MILLION flavors and goes on anything. literally.

make a commitment to give him 1 new fruit and 1 new veggie every single week until u literally run out of choices. try weird stuff. turnips. starfruit. coconut. brocolli rabe.

find out what kinds of fish he prefers.

make a HUGE batch of mashed potatoes and then separate it out and try new mixins every day. its quick/easy. cheeses, tuna or canned salmon (yes, they come organic!) soy beans, peas, corn, etc

lunch is so easy and so fun.... not as formal/stressful as dinner.

buy spelt pasta and do a zillion clever things with it

  • Mashed potatoes with pureed broccoli, spinach, or other veggies along with some beans mixed in for protein; Whole grain pasta shapes mixed in veggie or lentil soups; scrambled eggs alone or with beans and finely chopped veggies cooked in; whole grain bread spread with avocado for "butter." Thinly sliced chicken or fish; brown rice mashed with beans, avocado, tomato, and cheese along with a veggie if you want. (Rice and beans with avocado and tomato mashed is my 10 month old's favorite.) Bolognese sauce (I use ground turkey.) with pasta. For breakfast I often mix brown rice baby cereal with a bit of baby yogurt and smashed bananas or peaches. Hope this helps a bit.
