  • Ortho Tri-cyclen lo. The first time I didn't take it at the same time every day and I missed it once in a while. The second time I took it at 9:00 every day. I had an alarm set to take it. But after you just had a baby you are the most fertile and my bc wasn't strong enough. I was getting my period twice a month. My doc said that's a sign it's not strong enough. So after this baby comes, I'll be getting some high hormone stuff. LOL

  • Wow could it really take that long? See my husband is leaving for Army boot camp in Jan. We want to try for a baby before he leaves! With our son I was never on anything so this is diffrent!

  • It takes about a month to get the BC hormones out of your system, at least with the pill. I stopped taking the pill in September and concieved in November. If you're on something with higher hormones levels it might take longer.
