can i have copies of my sons school records?

i wanted copies of my sons tests so that i can track his progress. i was told that it is against school policy to release them to parents. that doesnt makes sense to me. does anyone have any thoughts about this that might help.

  • Yes, you have a right to ALL of your son's records. Tell them that if they won't give them to you, you will be contacting the state department of education. They have NO right to keep you from getting your sons records.
