Does peppermint oil really keep mice away?

I'm so upset - we have a mouse. Mice? Who knows. All I knew is I found their evidence, and I want them gone!! My DH sent me an email link about 100% pure peppermint oil on cotton balls ridding the house of mice. Has anyone every used this? Does it work?

  • Place 1 or 2 drops of the oil on a cotton ball and place the cotton balls around the house where the mice are visiting. They will just leave the premises.

Wow. You know, some people CAN'T AFFORD an exterminator. They are kind of pricy. But you must be one of "THOSE" who can afford it all, and knows it all. Thank you, have a nice day. Good bye.
