How many friends do you have?

Just wondering here.. For years I would say I had no friends. I mean except my husband. Then there were things I wouldn't even tell him. Now I feel I have the most friends I have ever had.
Still I say I have a few really good friends.. (not many) My husband and I are much closer now. I feel luckier than ever and see what I have been missing.

  • The only real friend i have is my husband.
I have made a few attempts to make friends with a few other people, but those relationships are less then established due to circumstances beyond human comprehension. That, and the fact that i have met very few people who can relate to the life that i am in.

  • I have alot of "friends". Most of them are friends I never get to see and just talk to occasionally online or through comments or PMs on Myspace. I have 3 girl friends I do get to see, though not often because of children and jobs and such. I also have 1 good male friend whom I consider like a brother. He's in the military though, so I only see him when he gets to go on leave and comes to visit. I dont really think Hubby and I are closer because I spend less time with my friends. Sometimes I think we are farther apart now than we were before marriage and our daughter.

  • I only have one non-related friend, and she and I have not seen eachother for over a month (though there is only a five minute drive between us).

Contrary to popular belief, being part of a military family does not guarantee close-knit friendships with the wives of your partner's buddies. This is especially true when you and your soldier are not yet married, but already have a child. Stigmas, right?

  • I have a few friends I've known for years, work colleagues - some of whom I am quite open and friendly with. Anyone else is an acquaintance I think.

  • Besides my husband I only have 1 close friend. I have a few other friends that I talk to and occasionally hang out with but I don't see them very often. Then I have quite a few aqcuaintances at work who I rarely see or talk to outside of work.
