  • Really anything that makes it work harder...walking, cardio, running, sex

  • Cardio exercise - cardio means heart. So exercise that raises the heartbeat rate for a period of time- 20 to 40 minutes. How high and how long depends on your health and what you doctor has advised.

  • I should mention some cardio exercises- swimming, fast walking, dancing, tennis, jogging, cardio classes.

  • swimming is one of the best, plus it is almost zero impact if you have bad joints.
