how do you "run" or "walk" a babys legs??

She has gas and I keep reading to do that to help, but it doesnt explain how.

  • Not sure, but my assumption would be to lay your baby down on her back, grab her feet, and raise the knees toward her chest doing one leg at a time.

  • I agree with the pp's.

    You remember the exercise where you lay on your back and "peddle your legs" like you were on a bike? Well, it's the same concept :-)

    Also, another thing you could try is to lay your baby across your knees on it's stomach (so it's stomach and chest is on your legs, with arms on one side and legs on the other, and rub / pat their back. That helps, too.

  • you know how when you exercise by doing the bicycle by lying on your back and moving your legs?? Do that with the babys legs. Im guessing thats what they are talking about, thats what worked for dd
