tampons?!

I HATE pads!!!! and I have been wearing pads since I had my baby. I was wondering how many weeks after I have a baby (via c-section) can I wear a tampon? I had my baby almost 3 weeks ago.

  • Umm if you had your baby by c-section, I don't think it matters when you use tampons but I could be wrong I guess.

  • After all of your lochia has stopped. You must wait for your uterus to heal and your cervix to close.

  • 6 weeks after vaginal. But only for a real period, not lochia.

  • Yeah, you need to wait for your 6 week check up and ask the doc if it's OK.

  • Wait for your body to heal and in the meantime research "the cup," "diva cup," and "the keeper." These are better and safer for women's bodies, reduce the risk of TSS, and saves money!
