Applie pie filling recipe?

So I have 3 or 4 apples and a frozen pie crust. No clue what to do next to make an applie pie? Any tips/recipes would be greatly appreciated! :)

  • Peel and slice your apples. Mix them with some sugar...depending on how tart they are. Also add a tsp of cinnamon a splash of lemon juice and you can put a little corn starch or flour in it as a thinckening agent. I put foil down on the rack beneath the pie because sometimes the juice runs over and makes a sticky smokey mess. Put your apple mix in the crust, cover with second crust. Cut a few holes in top,,,I shape mine like apple seeds or teardrops. I brush the top with a little milk and then sprinkle with cin/sugar. Bake until golden brown on 350. Good luck.
