frozen chicken breasts

Ok. The package says I can bake them for about an hour from frozen state. However, I need some ideas as to how to finish these chicken breasts, since I obviously cannot season them before I cook them. (I don't think the flavorings would stick.)

  • Yes you can season them while frozen. What I do is coat them lightly with olive oil first, sprinkle on the seasonings, and cook them. I do it what all chicken, all the time. Another option is rinse under cold water, place in pan, and season. Just because you're cooking from frozen doens't mean you can't season them first.

  • Even frozen you can marinate them in Itallian dressing.

  • Marinate them in Teriyaki or a Sweet and Sour Sauce. Yummy

  • Another option if you feel like your seasonings aren't really working while your chicken is frozen is to pull them out of the oven after about 5-10 minutes baking time and then season them.

  • I wrap them in a foil pouch with the seasonings.

Or you can brush with a little olive oil and season, so the seasonings stick.
