My Dr. has me completely confused and need straightened out...

How is it possible that blood work would show I have hyperthyroidism, yet the thyroid scan would show that I have hypothyroidism?? I am really confused and would google it but don't even know where to start.... any thoughts ladies??

  • I'd get a 2nd opinion from a totally different set of doctors/techs.

  • I agree with the PP I would go get another option from a different doctor, with new blood tests and scans.
