  • my dd is 61/2 months and is trying to stand without assistance I have 7 kids so far she will be my youngest walker but most of mine walked by the time they were 10 months.

    Every child is different though

  • my first (girl) started walking at 10 months. ive heard girls do things faster. my sons 10 months 2 weeks and 6 days old and hes just now standing on his own. but walks up and down the couch while holding on.

  • he took steps at 13 1/2 months and it continued...walking really well around 14-15 months

  • He was right at 11 months when he stopped holding onto furniture and walked without assistance. At 9 months he was standing, pulling up and moving between furniture.

  • my oldest was right at 11 months. but this last one, she was as stubborn as you can get. She was over 18mnths old bfore she started walking. She could talk just as well as 4 yearold but refused to walk! LOL everyone has thier own time scale

  • Mine was right at 10 months, but he wasn't very good until his first birthday. Some momas get anxious when they near the 1 year mark, but it's perfectly normal for a baby to not walk after a year. If you think about it, a few months isn't really a big difference, anyway. : )

  • my son is 10 1/2 mos and has recently been taking his first steps. he takes about 3-6 steps unassisted-- I'm giving him a few weeks before he has walking mastered...
