how do i get wall paint off of hardwood floor.?

is there any way?advice needed. thanks in advance:)

  • paint thinner will ruin the finish on your hardwood floor and leave a gray mark.
    if it is relatively new, you can use a hairdryer to soften the paint to make it rubbery, and then peel off the paint or gently scrape it off.
    or try some OOPS or GooBeGone from your local Lowes, located in the paint aisle.

  • If it is oil-based paint, then you will need to use paint thinner. If it is latex paint you can use water should work unless it has been there quite some time...otherwise try scraping it off carefully with a plastic scraper or (VERY CAREFULLY) a butterknife.

  • I heard form somewhere about steaming it. kinda like jewjewbee said it will make it rubbery and then peel off
