GOOD NEWS! Breast Cancer Death Rates Continue to Drop 2% Annually

  • It seems like I knowmore and more people who have survived breast cancer. My SIL just had to have one of her breasts removed a couple months ago. She has survived a number of cancer scares already.

  • It might be going down because a lot women stopped the HRT in menopausal women.

    HRT was once prescribed to prevent illnesses associated with menopausal women, including heart disease, breast cancer, and dementia.

    I don't know how not taking HRT could affect the survival rates. I can see how it would affect the rates of new cases though. The decrease of HRT use though has helped in several areas I think. IMO
