are mini cribs just as safe?

I am looking around and see these, portable or mini cribs. I am not fimiliar with these and was wondering if ayone had thoughts on them. Are they as safe as regulare cribs? are they the same thing as a regular crib, just smaller? how long should I able able to use it until baby stretches out too much? any personal advice is needed! Thanks, Jess

  • They are safe. My day care uses portable cribs for all the infants.

  • I have a portable crib. I liked it, it took up less space and my kids were able to us it up until they started climbing. The only thing I found out about it was that around 5 months my kids no longer had room to roll around so they always wanted out when they woke up.
