Why is it that on kids shows the kids and dad always hate "mom's meatloaf" or casserol?

I have always loved meatloaf and tuna casserol. Why is it always that they hate it?

  • Commercials PROVE that women are good cooks ONLY when they use Campbells soup recipies or have their husbands order in pizza (or have the 'guys' over to grill out!!).

    Women need to stick to cleaning, getting their hair and nailis done, brining their doggies to the groomer, and attend PTA meetings...

    yeah... I don't agree with the way that media portrays women and their abilities.

  • Because they make it every Monday or something and they are tired of it.
    My family loves my meatloaf, but I only cook it once every 3 weeks or so.

  • my family asks for my meatloaf, and we ask for my mom's tuna casserole! lol

    maybe it's to add more drama to the shows by having them complain about their mother's cooking... and they think people can relate to it... i didn't like my mom's meatloaf, it was always dry and overcooked.
