what to wear as a guest to a wedding on halloween?

my husbands cuzin is having her wedding on halloween and i have no clue what to wear in 21 , i hae big hips and find it hard to find things, anyone have ideas, or i would help a bunch if anyone has any pictures of some stuff to wear. thanks!

  • It would be great if you could wear a costume. I would assume that would be what someone who had a wedding on Halloween would want. I definitely would NOT go as a Zombie bride, lol, or a Ball & Chain, haha!

  • I have big hips as well, I have found that the peasant blouses are very flattering with a long thin skirt or nice dress slacks. You can find some cute styles at Avenue or even Target, I just saw a bunch of plus sized clothes on clearance there last night. Go for black and other dark colors, those will slim you and also go with the "Halloween" theme.

  • Im getting married on Halloween this year too :) My rule is anyone can dress up as long as it isnt satanic or sexy, but if she doesnt want adults dressing up, then maybe if you were to find a pretty dress that goes along with her colors... My Colors are Purple black and white... I know alot of girls are going to be wearing purple since my Bridesmaids are wearing black... dillards usually has good sales right about now on dresses. I got a few dresses there for like $19.99....
