What could happen if you have sex too soon after having a baby?

  • Ripped stitches, increased bleeding, infection, possibly pregnancy. Women are typically more fertile just after giving birth.

  • I agree, ripping is the worst part b/c whatever stitches u may have left, prob won't heal right .

  • Ouch... and I Dont Know About You, But I Was SOO Not Interested In Having Sex After Our Children Were Born. I Just Kept Reminding Myself How Horrible Labor Was To Keep My Mind Off Of It So I Didnt Want TO Do Anything... I Was Not About To Go Threw That Again Already!!

  • Your body does need time to heal.....let it heal! Infection, injury, pregnancy.....those are the risks.

  • I had sex with DH after 10 days. No pain and nothing happened. But I had a natural, normal birth with no stitches or tears or anything.

  • I could prob have sex now if i wanted to i did not have any stiches or any healing time.. i just decided i do not want to do it. I guess for some people its up to them plus im afraid of getting pregnant lol
