What is the best remedy for cramps in legs? A doctor told me potassium .

  • Potatoes have more potassium than bananas as well (as long as you eat the skin too)

  • Be careful if you take potassium tablets, too much can cause cramps and heart problems as well as too little. Eat potassium rich foods is a better way of getting extra.

  • Like the others said bananas, which contain potassium. A good multivitamin will have some too.

  • kiwi has more potassium then bananas, just gives you more variety. a teaspoon of apple cider vinager is suppose to stop the cramp but ive never tried it. yet

  • Also drink pleanty of water througout the day, dehydration can cause leg cramping as well
