  • It's about damn time somebody put the "Republican Healthcare Plan" into light.
There have been quite a handful of Republicans that, when describing the Democratic Healthcare proposal, used the same kinds of words. Saying that "death panels" (that weren't even existant in the plan) would KILL GRANNY.
How is this any different? Because Grayson is a democrat?

  • My question is if Republicans supposedly want sick people to die quickly, then what does that say about the dems supporting the original obamacare bill that wouldn't actually go into effect for 4 years (four years after we start paying for it though)? So would the message the Democrats are sending be 'If you are going to get sick, don't get sick for the next 4 years. And if you do get sick within 4 years, plan on paying for your medical treatment twice, since we are already collecting for when you get sick in 4 years"? Seems that way to me.

  • Fawn80 so you are saying that it is ok for the representative to use this kind of language because he is a democrat?

  • No, I'm saying that EVERYONE in Congress uses that kind of language. Watch C-Span once in a while, you'll see that.

  • 'Kunckle dragging neandathals'? First time Ive heard that one and I watch C-Span. IMHO the dems and libs dont want to admit theyre equal to repubs and conserves. That might mean theyre human! -Gasp!-

  • Quinnmae is Exactly right!

I think people DON'T realize that we will pay into health care system 4 years and have no access to it. So what do we do in the interim, pay for what we have now and pay for the one that is coming? How the heck do we do that? And I betcha the money will be used for whatever the gov't wants to use it for, hmmm, like paying for more PORK, so when 2012 gets here and there is a new President, and there will be, because we will all be sooo broke and sooo tired of the same old same old. Then the excuses will start and it will be discovered that they just had to tap into that health/care money due to an emergency. The $$$ just HAD to be used, to save little fishy or Pelosi's marsh mouse had to upgrade his family's living accommodations, the condo wasn't getting it any more, (sarcasm) & besides, what's a few $trillion$ here and there, no biggie! Her jet only uses $5,760,000 annually, for fuel... Cool!
