  • I have allergies to propylene glycol and formaldehyde and have to read the labels on everything. It's nice that my son works at an organic grocery store that sells personal care products and we get a 20% discount.

  • We have a fantastic organic store (called Simply Good) here in my city. Too bad everything is bitch ass expensive. We can't afford to pay $5 for one stick of deoderant.

  • How is it these widely available, common, over the counter products considered "poisonous?" As a topical application or if ingested?! LOL

Seriously, ALL products not made for human consumption could be considered poisonous--if abused and enough of the product was ingested and ONLY large quantities of that particular ingredient! I mean, household cleaning products in their simplest forms--like bleach and ammonia are poisonous, yet we clean our homes with such and inhale the fumes--so should we stop cleaning or only use water and organic soap?!

And face creams, hairspray, shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, even toothpaste is poisonous if ingested--even Tom's of Maine (organic) is poisonous if you ingest the whole tube!

OP--why are you posting this information?
