Breastfeeding latch issue

My 3 week old gulps a lot of air when he's nursing. It doesn't matter if he's acting like he's starving and eating fast, or if he's just chilling out having a snack, he still gulps too much air. What confuses me is, he doesn't do it ALL the time. I can hold him in the same exact position the whole time and he'll gulp air for a while, then eat fine, then start gulping again.

Help?

  • Kambrea does that because i have over active let down. Do you feel your milk leave quickly? when does he do it at the very beginning or after he's been feeding a while?
