Does anyone else only get 3 WIC vouchers a month since wic got cut back?

I get 4 gallons of milk, 36 oz of cereal, 46oz of juice, 1lb of cheese, 2 dozen eggs, and 18oz of peanut butter for my 1yr old daughter. does everyone else on WIC get the same as me? My daughter drinks more juice then she gets.

  • The AAP recommends kids age 1-6 drink 4 ounces of juice or less a day. WIC is a suppliment, it is not supposed to be all of the food a child needs.

  • Your daughter drinks too much juice.
It's empty calories. She actually doesn't need juice at all.
All you are doing is encouraging a sugar addiction.

  • Juice is fine or they wouldn't give it, as long as it's 100% juice, my vouchers got cut too, but it's still plenty.

  • Its def. only a supplemental program. It took me a long time to find out that FS covers formula too, so i was constantly scrimping and cutting trying to buy my son formula to last him that last week of the month because they never gave me enough!!! Some things you just have to buy outta pocket, thankfully juice isnt expensive!
