im having breathing problems

im a fit weight and everything for my age never had breathing problems before, now that im pregnant only 6 weeks im having breathing problems.
why is this

  • Hormones....more specifically, progesterone. Since the levels of your hormones are increasing, this stimulates the respitory center in your brain. Your body needs more oxyen because it is working harder. It's perfectly normal. Take it easy and if it gets to the point where you are having troubles breathing, see your doctor. Shortness of breath is normal in pregnancy.

  • Excellent answer above. Later on in your pregnany, it will be a simple lack of lung capacity when a 7+ baby is invading your space lol. Totally normal, I remember being winded walking up one flight of stairs.
