  • How improper is it for someone to vote for a law that you don't know the specifics you voted for? It will effect the entire country, but you don't know what you passed into law. Send these people back home to work in the private sector. Oh, sorry, there aren't any jobs!

  • Oh yeah, the thing is impossible. It is a shame that something so important is buried in BS lawyer talk. It could (and probably will) cost us the legislation. Have any of you ever read your own insurance coverage contracts? I am researching insurance right now for work, and just to insure 1 building and one business it has taken hours and hours. And I still only have a vague understanding.

  • What exactly do we pay these people for? They were elected to represent us and look out for us, that is their JOB. So why is it that, they DON'T read the bills, how in the world can they vote with a clear conscience, on anything they haven't read for themselves? The truth is, most of them don't really care, it is of NO importance to them because they have a cushy deal, that we pay for...

  • Not to mention, the boss of the Dems., Fraulein Nancy, tells them just to mark Yes!

Answer by agentwanda at 9:48 PM on Oct. 2, 2009

  • Wouldn't it be funny if buried in one of the bills they aren't reading it the way "you're fired."

I don't know what is worse them not reading the bills or saying it is impossible to read them so they won't bother. What a joke. Creating, reading and voting on bills is their JOB. They even have lots of help to do it. Ridiculous!
