What can you do to brighten your hair naturally?

I have reddish blonde hair. It looks kinda dull the older I get. How can I brighten it up? Preferably something cheap, easy and something I can do myself.

  • I am a stylist and I do believe they have a no color gloss @ places like walgreens now. You put it on your hair like a color, but it just adds shine and vibrance to your natural hair.
I use the Redken Shades to brighten me up without all the ammonia. Its actually conditions your hair while you have it on.

  • I have used the cellophane rinse ins...makes your hair feel like a million bucks! I also like that it adds shine and dimension with the natural highlights. I have also heard lemon juice will help to lighten your hair if you sit in the sun. I have heard, but haven't tried washing your hair with vinegar, it's supposed to remove any buildup on the strands, to help brighten it back up.
