  • oh i got ALOT lol. i threw one for a friend about a year ago and still have my ideas saved...

1- Animal baby- write down all kind of animals,(alligator, duck, bear, beaver, dog, cat, lion, llama, monkey, kangaroo, goat, deer, cow, donkey, owl, spider, sheep, swan, skunk, eel, eagle, elephant, fish, frog, giraffe, horse, hummingbird, ect) and everyone has to guess the name of their baby (ex: baby alligators are hatchlings, Donkey babies are foals, ect)

2-draw a baby- get a paperplate, and everyone has to try to drawl a baby on the plate while the plate is on their head.

3-blindfold diapering- self explanitory. get a babydoll and some diapers for this one

4-applesauce game- needed: bibs, blindfold, applesauce. one person sits at the table, hands in lap; someone behind them has arms around person in front, tries to feed them applesauce while blindfolded

  • 5- Who knows mommy best?- write questions in regards to the mom to be, and whoever gets the most answers correct, wins

6- memorize it- this game is while mommy to be is NOT in the room ( this is a great potty break game for mom to be :), get a tray and put items on it, have someone walk around so that everyone can see what's on the tray. after everyone looks at it, have everyone write down everything the mom to be is wearing (see why mom to be isn't in the room? lol) it will totally take them off guard. (and maybe the MTB can wear something extra, something she normally doesn't wear)

7-bottle race- put juice in baby bottles, whoever drinks it the fastest wins. (make sure all the nipples are the same speed)

ok this next one might take a minute for me to write, maybe a couple answers. you need a prize, it can be wrapped, or not, your choice. get everyone in a circle

  • and pass the prize around, the story will tell you which way to pass it. when you hear left, it goes to the person to your left, same as when you hear the word right.

This is a story about Mrs. Wright's baby shower tea party. She lived right at the end of lefty lane, the third house on the left. Today, Mrs. Wright was hosting a baby shower tea party. The women would enter left, right through the front door and greet Mrs Wright, they would head right down the stairs, turning left then right into Mrs Wright's family room where the mommy to be was,

Two of the girls were left handed so they would sit at the left of the table. Mrs Wright held up her right hand and all of her friends grew quiet, except the left handed girl on the right patting Mrs Wright's dog named Hefty Lefty.

Mrs Wright asked Sarah Wright and Julie Wright to pass out the teacups starting to the left. Sarah Wright and Julie Wright started out left but

  • turned back because they left the cups just to the right of the table, right next to the spoons. Mrs Wright said "That's all right."

Mrs Wright began to serve her friends some pie when Grandma Wright smelled the delicious desserts and left her bedroom to join the Wright girls. She went down the stairs and turned left than right, right into Mrs Wright's family room.

Grandma Wright knocked and entered left and sat in the rocking chair on the left. Sarah Wright and Julie Wright invited Grandma Wright to join them at the table.

Grandma Wright had been to many baby showers as a young girl and right before they realized it, Grandma right was telling them stories from when she was the mommy to be and went to the right cabinet and in the left drawer were pictures of her baby shower

As the party ended right on time, they all put their dishes right in the left side of the sink and thanked Mrs Wright and Grandma Wright for

  • such a wonderful time. Soon, all of the women from the Wright baby shower tea party turned right then left, then left again to return to the front door and out to the right car that they arrived in. Down lefty lane they went. Now who ended up with the right gift?

lol, that was a confusing but fun game! everyone loved it. i hope i've helped you out some. GL and have fun!

  • My mom threw me a shower and she did a couple of neat things.

-a game called my water broke- you freeze tiny babies in water and put them in dixie cups and who ever melts the ice first yells my water broke. They can do anything to make it melt but take the ice out of the cup.

-you take a large bowl and put rice and small safety pens in it and see who can get the most safety pins the fastest while blind folded.

-my favorite was not a game but more like a craft. we were given a number and made birthday cards for that year then the mother gives the baby the card for its birthday . you may need to recycle the numbers depending on how many people there are.

Let us know how it turns out

  • Name that Poo- Get 6-10 diapers-6-10 different candy bars, melt a bar in each diaper in the microwave for 10 secs.- then pass the diapers around (marked 1-6) to the guests. Everyone writes down what candy bar they think it is w/out licking the poo. (Have them smell it & smear it around) The one with the most right wins! note: This is great for pics!

Diaper Game- In teams of twos give each tean 1 roll of tiolet paper- one is the model & the other the designer- Within 60 seconds they have to make a home made diaper on the model player. The mom-to-be is the judge.

Baby Gum- Give each player a big piece of gum (bubalicious) They have to chew it & form it into a baby. The mom-to-be is the judge.
