  • he should be okay, my baby dosne't poop every day & he's okay, some ppl just don't. as long as he's not constipated i wouldn't be worried :)

  • hes ok. i freaked out about this too when my daughter was about 10 days old (now 4 1/2 months old). she didnt poop for 48 hours. so i called my local hospital hone elpline and they said she was fine as long as it didnt continue. The nurse told me to expect from 3 poops a day to one poop every 3 days :) congrats on ur baby new momma :)

  • as adults...to the PP we SHOULD poop everyday! yuk if you don't....anyway, babies can go for DAYS without pooping whether breastfed or formula fed...If he's straining, it's not a sign of constiptation either...babies don't have full control over their external sphincter, so they need to "learn" how to go....he should be fine...

  • My daughter poops every morning around the same time. One day, she didn't. Each diaper change, I was expecting poop...but no such luck. So of course I ran to the computer and googled it! LOL I read it's ok if they don't poop everyday. If it goes past 3 days, I'd call your doctor.
